Maybe you donkey's can get a W tonight! I highly doubt it, but please try.

Sounds like even MacT has mailed it in, talking about now keeping the pick. Katz has to clean house and start fresh. How many years do the old boys get? I remember when we had 27 Sutters in our organization you guys said the same thing to us. Maybe follow your own advice.

And if you're wondering, I did get out of bed on the wrong side...

Good Blog Shaune. I am glad that guys like Cammi Stemper Hudler Galliardi are playing in these games this is a rough time of year to be playing in the NHL on a team that does not have start talent such as the Flames. Vets are mature enough to realize that hard work can only carry you so far you need to have talent on a team to be sucessful this time of year as well scoring slumps will come and go. If the Flames were to dump all the vets and bring in the kids as alot of fans are calling for can you imagine what such a scoring, winning slump would do to their confidence and their development

Best course of action for the Flames is to continue adding grit "turculance" with small trades here and there and add talented players through the draft.

Can't knock the vets at all... Just huge struggles at this point. Cammy should be one of the deadline prizes.

I like every move of Mact except one so far. Lowe can go anytime but he's really just a Ken King that actually played...

Crosby yesterday in his interview said the Oilers are not very far off of being very good for a long time....

Cammy 32 points (17 goals) in 32 playoff games

Ales 17 points(6 goals) in 30 playoff games

Yeah... GM's will see them as being pretty much the same...

Apparently Edmonton is the only team Crosby has never scored against! Some reported mentioned it to him in an interview so now Crosby is going to try extra hard to get about 5 tonight!

Then they will see a cup run and back to missing playoffs at which time several of their top palyers will sign as UFA's somewhere else and others will demand to be traded and that will spark another 8 year re-build

Not sure if sarcastic but hell I'll bite anyways. We've been the same 3 moves away from "being there" for the last 4 years. Top 6 forward with size, top defenseman, solid goaltender.... if we can't solve one of those in four years, my belief in us solving all in one go is low at best.

If you think we were the same 3 moves away for 4 years you are seriously (frank)ed!

Rephrase: Those have b been three of our biggest issues over the past four years. Obviously we've had way more than that, but those are the ones that consistently come up. But just to throw out three names, if we had Price, Pietrangelo, and Kopitar on top of our roster we would obviously be competing way more.
